Free Webinar: Beyond Compliance - How High Performance Fenestration Supports Passive House and Large-Building Decarbonization, June 17, 12 pm ET
Event Description

As cities accelerate toward low-carbon and net-zero-ready buildings, architects and Passive House practitioners are rethinking the role of fenestration in large-scale building performance. From thermal bridge mitigation and airtightness to occupant comfort and embodied carbon, façade systems have become critical to achieving ambitious energy targets without compromising architectural intent.

This session explores how advanced fiberglass window and window wall systems can support high-performance enclosure strategies in mid-rise and high-rise Passive House projects. Through built case studies, mock-up testing, and comparative analysis, attendees will examine how thermally efficient fenestration enables greater design flexibility, supports demanding glazing ratios, and simplifies pathways toward Passive House and advanced energy-code compliance.

The presentation will highlight lessons learned from large-building applications and retrofits, including strategies for reducing operational carbon, improving thermal comfort and resilience, and minimizing reliance on heavily insulated opaque assemblies. Attendees will gain practical insight into how early integration of high-performance fenestration can help deliver durable, low-carbon buildings at scale.
