Building Resilience: Construction in an uncertain world, October 14, Online, 1:30 - 8:15 pm PT
Event Description
The built environment industry must prepare for a future defined by more intense, more frequent climate-related challenges that will determine what, where, and how we build. From extreme weather events to rising temperatures, our teams, buildings and infrastructure will be (and already are) at increasing risk.
From managing urban heat and preventing overheating in our homes and workplaces, to flood-resilient construction and integrating nature-based solutions, this international conference will move beyond theory to highlight practical, actionable strategies for designing, delivering, retrofitting, and managing assets that will stand the test of a world ravaged by climate change, including real-world case studies from the UK and internationally.
Join Eventbrite to explore how they must adapt and prepare to meet the critical challenge of ensuring your buildings, infrastructure, and communities are ready for an uncertain future by urgently embedding climate resilience into practice and changing the way they design, build, retrofit, and operate your buildings to make both the industry and our built environment more resilient.
Please note: this event is for over 18’s only.
