The HERS Registry is an online data base that creates and tracks the numerous compliance documents needed for compliance with California’s Title 24 Part 6 energy code. This class will cover what building departments need to know about the HERS Registry and why it is called the single most important tool for Energy Code Compliance.

Learning Objectives - 

  • Understand how to get the building department login credentials for the HERS Registries
  • Understand how to search for a registered project.
  • Understand the importance of using the HERS registry.
  • Understand how to read the Project Status Report for a project.
  • Understand how energy code compliance is a three-step process facilitated by the three types of forms CF1R, CF2R, and CF3R.
