Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. Regenerative, Resilient and Equitable Solutions for Large-scale Developments (Communities), November 6, 1 - 2 pm PT
Event Description
Globally, leaders and policy makers are doubling down on achieving net-zero emissions, while achieving resilience against natural and man-made disasters. 280 large-scale community developments in the world utilize LEED for Communities rating system that encompasses social, economic and environmental performance indicators and strategies with a clear, data-driven means of benchmarking and communicating progress. USGBC experts will provide insights into the value proposition of this rating system, technical updates, educational and engagement opportunities and case studies from global projects. USGBC members, consultants and developers can utilize strategies, tools and resources of this rating system to assist them in achieving sustainability and equity objectives in their own community projects.
