Globally, leaders and policy makers are doubling down on achieving net-zero emissions, while achieving resilience against natural and man-made disasters. 280 large-scale community developments in the world utilize LEED for Communities rating system that encompasses social, economic and environmental performance indicators and strategies with a clear, data-driven means of benchmarking and communicating progress. USGBC experts will provide insights into the value proposition of this rating system, technical updates, educational and engagement opportunities and case studies from global projects. USGBC members, consultants and developers can utilize strategies, tools and resources of this rating system to assist them in achieving sustainability and equity objectives in their own community projects.
