Free Webinar: Electrification & Home Performance Series: 4 - All About Quality Insulation Installation, July 9,10 am PT
Event Description
Building electrification replaces fossil fuel systems with electric alternatives. As California shifts to all-electric homes, understanding home performance is essential. Key factors, such as energy efficiency, air sealing, and insulation, reduce energy use, improve air quality, and increase comfort. High-performance homes use less energy, making electrification smoother and more sustainable.
This class is the fourth in a series on Electrification and Home Performance, covering the requirements and concepts behind QII testing.
Enhance attendees' knowledge with a single class or complete the series for a thorough understanding of the relationship between home performance and electrification.
Learning Objectives:
As a result of attending this class, attendees can expect to learn the following:
The principles of 6-sided insulation installation
How gaps, voids, and compression impact home performance
An understanding of thermal bypass and air barrier placement
Target Audience of this class:
Architects/Designers
Builders/Contractors
Home Energy Professionals
Code Officials
Homeowners
