Free Webinar: Ask the Experts - Heat Pump Water Heater & Solar Permitting, September 24, 12 - 1 pm PT
Event Description
Join 3C-REN for an office-hours style open discussion focused on permitting requirements for heat pump water heaters (HPWHs) and solar installations. This interactive session provides direct access to an industry expert who can help clarify general permitting processes, answer project-specific questions, and address common challenges encountered by contractors, designers, installers, and building professionals. Bring your questions and participate in an open dialogue designed to support successful project planning, compliance, and implementation.
The session will be led by Reuben Veek, Founder and Executive Director of SunWork. Reuben has been installing grid-tied residential solar energy systems since 2006 and has overseen the construction of more than 250 systems throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Central Coast. In addition to solar, SunWork operates a HPWH installation program that uses a unique volunteer-supported model to make electrification projects more affordable while providing hands-on education for people interested in clean energy careers. With extensive experience in both solar and HPWH installations, and experience working with 3C-REN’s Home Energy Savings program to install HPWH, Reuben brings practical insights and real-world expertise to help participants better understand permitting requirements, common challenges, and best practices for successful project implementation.
