Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. Climate Literacy, Online Self-Paced 15-hour Course, January 26 - March 20
Event Description
Are you a community leader, communicator, or educator interested in building your knowledge of the basics of climate change and what we can do about it?
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Please note that this course is designed to deepen your understanding of the science behind climate change and potential solutions—it does not focus on teaching methods or instructional strategies related to climate change education.
This 8-week course should take approximately 15 hours to complete. Although learning is self-paced, there is a suggested timeline of completion for each module. Additionally, participants will be required to attend a 1-hour online discussion with fellow eeCourse participants to share ideas, reflections on course materials, and/or their final course project.
Participants who complete this course can earn 1 credit hour of continuing education through Adams State University (an additional fee of $55 paid to Adams State University)
Registration for Spring 2026 will be open December 1, 2025 - January 22, 2026. The term begins January 26, and all assignments are due by March 20, 2026. This course is designed to be completed within the designated timeframe, so please plan accordingly to make the most of your learning experience and ensure you have the time to fully participate in the course.
