Event Description

Offsite construction provides a unique opportunity to use precision for a higher quality build, consistency and less waste for a more sustainable approach to home building. Experts on this panel will discuss specific measures from the supply chain to the factory to the jobsite that meet the highest standards of performance and that can be translated to projects at any scale, including insights from the Picket Fence project. EEBA will also discuss how these practices open up funding opportunities and provide ongoing cost savings to the homeowners, along with key insights from the current occupants of Picket Fence. This session will provide valuable insights for homebuilders, architects and developers on data-backed, high-impact solutions for decarbonization and measurable improvements in high-performance homes, construction waste mitigation, and carbon footprint reduction.
